Brazil Cerrado 17/18 is a classic single-origin Brazilian coffee with vibrant yet refined acidity, nutty sweetness, and a smooth, full-bodied profile. A subtle hint of smokiness adds depth to its naturally low-acid character, creating a thick, creamy, and balanced cup. Grown in Brazil’s Cerrado highlands, this specialty coffee reflects time-honored craftsmanship and remains a global favorite for its rich, approachable flavor.
Screen 17/18
This bean, known as the Cerrado Brazil screen 17/18, is the second-largest possible bean size. With a consistent size ranging between 6.75 and 7 millimeters, these large, uniform beans ensure even roasting, allowing for a balanced and harmonious flavor profile.
Process – Natural
Brazil Cerrado Mineiro 17/18 is naturally processed, a traditional method in the Cerrado Mineiro region where ripe coffee cherries are dried with the fruit intact. This process enhances natural sugars and fruit flavors, producing a rich, sweet coffee with a medium body and chocolatey, nutty undertones.
Grown at moderate elevations, these lower-density beans benefit from a gentler roast approach. Lower charge temperatures and an extended drying phase preserve sweetness, develop a syrupy mouthfeel, and ensure even roasting across screen 17/18 beans. The result is a full-bodied, velvety-smooth Brazilian coffee that reflects the heritage and craftsmanship of the Cerrado region.
